Slocum High School Prep was founded in 2012 by Nancy Slocum and Kate Berry, who both co-direct the program.  Our staff is predominantly female.

Kate Berry – current varsity girls soccer coach at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School (7 years).  She has led her team to a MIAA Division 1 North Championship title 2 times (2015 and 2014) and 3 Dual County League Championships.  Her teams have qualified for the MIAA Division 1 State Tournament all 7 of her 7 years at the helm. Berry was a four-year starter and captain at Wesleyan University. She currently holds a US Soccer "C" license.  Coach Berry is also a Math teacher at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.

 

 

 


Caitlin Pickul - Slocum High School Prep - Soccer - Soccer Camp for Girls - Girls Soccer - Youth Soccer - Concord MA - Wayland MA

 

 

Caitlin Pickul - current assistant soccer coach at Holy Cross. Former assistant coach and strength and conditioning coach at Wellesley College.  Former staff member for Boston Breakers.  Played goal keeper at Providence College.  2-time MVC League All-star honors and senior captain at North Andover High School where she is still the all-time record holder for career shut-outs (35 career shut-outs).

Alex Caram: Varisty Head GIrls Soccer Coach at Lexington High School. Played NCAA Division 1 soccer in college at NC State and Fairfield University.  At Fairfield she was a 3-time MAAC First Team All-Star, 2-time MAAC All-Tournament Team selection, 2-time MAAC All-Academic Selection,  NSCAA Scholar Athlete selection, and team captain her senior year.  While in high school, her Stars of Mass team won the US Youth Soccer National Championship in 2005.

Joe Bohenek

Current  Girls Varsity Head Coach at Concord Academy (2 years). Named as Eastern Independent League Coach of the Year in 2015. Current club soccer coach at New England Futbol Club and private soccer tutor. Played soccer at Keene State College in New Hampshire where he competed in the NCAA tournament in 2011. Holds a USSF-E license and an NSCAA Level II Goalkeeping license.

 

 

 

 

We often have guest appearances by college coaches.  Guest college coaches from past years have included:    

Nancy Feldman: Head Coach at Boston University for the past 20 years.  11 NCAA Tournament Appearances, 10 Conference Titles, named Conference Coach of the Year 10 times, named NSCAA Regional Coach of the Year 2 times, a native of Needham, MA, Feldman is a Region 1 ODP staff coach and an NSCAA National Coaching Academy staff coach.

Maren Rojas: former assistant coach for the Boston Breakers, former head coach for Bowdoin College, former assistant coach for B.C., Syracuse University and the University of Virginia.  Maren was an MVP goal keeper at William and Mary.  

Jessica Clinton: current head coach at Fordham University. Jessica was a standout goal-keeper and long-time assistant coach at Boston University.  She also trained with the Boston Breakers in 2003.  

Emma Clark: current assistant coach at Boston University.  As a player, Clark was a 2-time NSCAA Regional All-American selection, 2-time first team All- Conference (Patriot League and American East) selection and senior captain at Boston University.  2-time All-State selection and 4-time All-Conference selection at York High School where she won two state titles and, her senior year, was named the Maine Class B Player of the Year, Portland Press Player of the Year, Portland Herald Player of the Year. 

Martin Desmairas: current head coach at MIT: 2013 NSCAA New England Division III Coach of the Year, 2013 NEWMAC (New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference) Coach of the Year.  2013 Staff  coach for Boston Breakers.  

Stephanie Schafer: current head coach at WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute), former assistant coach at Wagner College (Division I).
