Coach Slocum played soccer semi-professionally for the Boston Renegades and was an Academic All-American at the University of North Carolina, helping the Tar Heels win two NCAA National Championships en route to their unbelievable dynasty.
She holds an NSCAA National Coaching Diploma and a Master's Degree in Sport Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She has been coaching soccer for over 25 years, including 5 years at the college level, and has been a member of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) Region 1 Coaching Staff and the MYSA Instructional Staff.
Currently, Coach Slocum is a Health and Fitness teacher at Concord-Carlisle High School where she coached the varsity girls’ soccer team for 15 years (1997-2012), leading the team to 4 Dual County League Championships and numerous trips to the MIAA State Tournament. In 2017 she returned to the coaching ranks as Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach at Concord-Carlisle High School.
Kate Grant is the former Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School where she coached for 20 years, 12 as the Head Coach of the program. During her tenure as Head Coach, her teams qualified for the MIAA Division 1 State Tournament every season but two. She led her team to back-to-back MIAA Division 1 North Championship titles (2014 and 2015) and to three Dual County League Championships.
Grant was a four-year starter and captain at Wesleyan University. She currently holds a US Soccer "C" license. Coach Grant is also a Math teacher at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
Caitlin Pickul is in her 2nd year as the Head Coach at Wellesley College. Before her most recent job posting, she spent 2 years as the Head Coach at Nichols College and spent just over 4 years as the Assistant Soccer Coach at College of the Holy Cross and helped lead the team to their first Patriot League Tournament appearance in 19 years. She is also currently the Club Director and Director of Goalkeeping for Best FC. Prior to Holy Cross, she spent 5 years as an Assistant Soccer Coach and an Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning at Wellesley College. She is a former staff member for the Boston Breakers. She was a goalkeeper at Providence College, 2-time MVC League All-Star honors and senior captain at North Andover High School where she is still the all-time record holder for career shut-outs (35). She currently is CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) certified from the NSCA, has her USSF D License and her NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 1.
Mary Shimko
Current Head Soccer Coach at Brandeis University where she previously was the Assistant Coach. In 2017, she helped the team to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. Prior to Brandeis, Shimko was an Assistant Coach at College of the Holy Cross for 1 season and before that, she spent 2 seasons as an Assistant Coach at Smith College. She was a 4 year starter and two-year captain at Brandeis, where she helped them to 2 NCAA appearances as well as the program's first ever berth into the Elite 8 in 2010. She holds her NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and her USSF "D" license.
Jess DiPhilippo
Former Assistant Coach at Babson College. She was a 4 year standout at Babson from 2011-2014. DiPhilippo was a four-time NEWMAC selection and two-time NSCAA All-New England honoree. She scored 22 goals and recorded 24 assists in 74 matches. She is currently 2nd in program history in assists, 8th in points, and tied for 10th all-time in goals.
Emma Clark
Current Volunteer Assistant Coach at Harvard University. Former Assistant Coach at Seton Hall University. Former Associate Head Coach at Boston University. As a player, Clark was a 2-time NSCAA Regional All-American selection, 2-time first team All- Conference (Patriot League and American East) selection and senior captain at Boston University. 2-time All-State selection and 4-time All-Conference selection at York High School. There she won two state titles and in her senior year was named the Maine Class B Player of the Year, Portland Press Player of the Year and Portland Herald Player of the Year.
Katie Schoepfer
Currently the United States U15 National Team Head Coach. Academy Director and Director of College Advising for South Shore Select. Previously, she was an Assistant Coach at College of the Holy Cross. Before that, Katie was a Volunteer Coach at Boston University. At the professional level, she played with Sky Blue and the Boston Breakers. She made 100 professional appearances for the Breakers between 2011 and 2016. She was a 4-year starter at Penn State where she received multiple awards including NSCAA All-American (2007, 2009), first team NSCAA Scholar All-American (2009), Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year (2009), Big Ten All-Conference (2007-2009) and Big Ten All-Freshman team (2006). She currently is the Girls' Assistant Director at Valeo Futbol Club.
Brooke Hutchinson
Former Head Coach at Rivier University. Prior to Rivier, she was an Assistant Coach at Wheaton College (MA) as well as an Assistant Coach at Eastern Nazarene. Hutchinson was a 4 year member of the Johnson & Wales University Women's Soccer program, serving as a captain in her junior and senior seasons. She holds her USSF "C" license.
Nancy Feldman
Former Head Coach at Boston University for over 2 decades. She has led the Terriers to 14 NCAA Tournament Appearances and 13 Conference Titles. She was named Conference Coach of the Year 11 times and NSCAA Regional Coach of the Year 2 times. Coach Feldman is a native of Needham, Mass and is a Region 1 ODP staff coach as well as an NSCAA National Coaching Academy staff coach.
Casey Brown
Current Head Coach at Boston University. Previously, she was the Head Coach at the University of Pennsylvania, College of the Holy Cross and former Associate Head Coach at Boston University. Brown was a 4 year starter at Boston University and is the only three-time Defender of the Year in America East Conference history. She garnered All-America East honors every year while at Boston University.
Martin Desmarais
Current Head Coach at MIT. He is a 5 time NEWMAC Coach of the Year; he has led MIT to 3 NEWMAC Championship titles, 6 consecutive regular season crowns and 7 NCAA tournament appearances, making it to the Sweet Sixteen in 2012 for the first time in program history. In 2013 he was named NSCAA New England Division III Coach of the Year. He holds his NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
Stephanie Riley-Schafer
Current Head Coach at WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute), and former Assistant Coach at Wagner College. She was named the 2016 NEWMAC Coach of the Year as well as the 2016 NSCAA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year. She led WPI to their first NEWMAC Championship in 2016 as well as their first NCAA appearance. Prior to Wagner, Schafer worked with the Boston Breakers for five years serving as the Senior Team Coordinator, Equipment Manager, Team Manager and Director of Operations.
Jessica Clinton
Former Head Coach at Fordham University and former Associate Head Coach at Boston University. Prior to coaching at BU, she was an Assistant Coach at St. John's University. Clinton has been a member of the U13 and U15 Region 1 Olympic Development Staff since 2009 and a Senior Staff member for the U15 age group. In her time at BU as a player, she was the 2003 America East Goalkeeper of the Year, America East All-Conference First Team honoree in 2001 and 2003, and collected NSCAA All-Northeast Region Team honors as a senior. She also trained with the Boston Breakers in 2003. She holds her USSF "B" and "C" licenses.
Nellie Pineault
Currently in her 13th season as the Head Coach at Babson College. She has led the team to the NEWMAC Tournament consistently since 2010. In 2015 she led her team to their first ever NCAA Tournament berth. Pineault has coached 23 all-conference selections and has seen her players earn 13 NSCAA and NEWISA All-New England honors since 2010.
Tony Mohammed
Former Head Boys Soccer Coach at the Berkshire School where they won the Class A Title in 2016. Prior to that he spent 9 season as the Head Coach at Wellesley College with 3 straight winning seasons in his last 3 years. Tony is currently a senior partner at JM Sports Management helping student-athletes from around the world find high school programs in the United States.
Amy Brooks
Current Assistant Girl's Varsity Soccer Coach (9 years) at Concord-Carlisle High School and math tutor. Former Head Coach at Swarthmore College. Amy was an All-American Goalkeeper and NSCAA-Adidas Goalkeeper of the year at Bates College. She holds her NSCAA Advanced National Coaching License and is a former ODP Region 2 staff coach.
